Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer is formulated to kill weeds and grasses to the root and prevents weeds and vegetation for up to 1 year. This fast-acting formula starts working immediately and is rainproof in 1 hour. Use Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer only where no vegetation is desired for at least a year. Use on driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, paver patios, walkways, gravel areas, rock and desert landscapes, under decks, parking areas, and along fences and curbs. Water the day before application if soil is dry. For best results, apply when temperatures are above 60°F. The Trigger Sprayer is all about great value and ease of use. Just spray with the easy-to-use Trigger Sprayer to treat weeds. Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables, or other plants because the product remains active in the soil for up to one year. Do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.

How to Use

• Connect the Sprayer Remove the sprayer from the bottle by sliding it up.
• Unwrap the hose.
• Insert the hose connector into the spout on the bottle cap.
• Listen for the "click."
• Spray Twist the knob to "ON."
• Turn the sprayer nozzle to the desired spray pattern.
• Squeeze the trigger repeatedly to spray.
• Finish Turn nozzle to "OFF."
• Twist knob to "OFF."
• Place the sprayer back into the holster.
• Do not disconnect the hose connector from the cap.

Where Not to Use

• Do not use on lawns, on or around fruits, vegetables, flowers, or over the root zone of shrubs and trees.
• Do not apply to slopes as the movement on the soil surface may damage desirable plants down the slope.
• Do not apply next to fences if there are desirable plants growing on the other side.
• Do not apply to areas where you want other plants to grow.
• To avoid damage to desirable plants, do not apply over their root systems.
• For shrubs and trees, do not apply closer than twice the distance from the trunk to the drip line as roots may be within this area.

Where to Use

• Use on driveways, sidewalks, along fence lines, on paver patios, in gravel areas, across rock and desert landscapes, under decks, in parking areas, and along fences and curbs.
• Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer can also be used in unplanted areas and other locations where weeds, vegetation, and grasses are not wanted.
• Apply only to areas where no vegetation growth is wanted for up to 1 year.

When to Apply

• For the best results, apply when weeds are actively growing and when the air temperature is above 60℉.

How Often to Apply

• Do not apply to the same area more than once a year.
• The maximum single application rate is 1 gallon per 300 sq. ft.

This product is toxic to plants. Drift and run off may be hazardous to plants in water adjacent to treated areas. To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area.
