Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer Granules₃ kills insects outdoors before they can come indoors (refer to booklet for complete insect lists). In addition, this product starts creating a bug barrier in minutes and provides 3 month protection against 105 insects including ants, caterpillars, crickets, listed ticks (including those that transmit Lyme Disease), scorpions, and listed spiders (refer to booklet for the insects killed for 3 months). Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer Granules₃ are ready-to-spread and are light and easy to apply. Use as a perimeter treatment around the home foundations outdoor perimeter. Apply early to prevent infestation. Otherwise, apply at the first sign of insect activity or damage. Evenly apply a 2 foot wide band next to the home foundation, using 0.5 to 1 lb. of product for each 500 sq. ft. For best results, the treated area should be thoroughly watered immediately after application. Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer Granules₃ treats the average 2,000 sq. ft. 2-story home over 2 times.
How to Use
For 3 month/season long control, use .5 to 1.0 lb. for every 500 sq. ft. (2 ft. x 250 ft.).
For best results, treated area should be thoroughly watered immediately after application.
